Types of Presentation
​
  • Paper presentation based on research/empirical study (20 minutes for presentation + 10 minutes for discussion). To submit a paper proposal, please send a 250 to 350-word abstract, referring to: title, theoretical underpinnings, research aims and methodology, findings, and conclusions. Include up to 3 keywords and up to 3 references.

  • Panel session, with three papers on the same topic, and a discussant chosen by the panel organisers (90 minutes, including presentations and dialogue with the audience). To submit a proposal for a panel session, please send a 100-word abstract summarising the topic and its importance, together with 200-word abstracts of each speaker, plus details of the roundtable organiser, chair (if different from the organiser), and participants. Include up to 3 keywords and up to 6 references for the overall panel session.

  • Roundtable session of three / four participants about a specific theme (60 minutes): participants will give a short introductory statement of 10-15 minutes and the rest of the session will consist of discussion and debate. To submit a proposal for a roundtable, please send a 100-word abstract summarising the topic and its importance, together with 100-word abstracts of each speaker, plus details of the roundtable organiser, chair (if different from the organiser), and participants. Include up to 3 keywords and up to 3 references for the overall roundtable session.

  • PhD candidates’ presentations (15 minutes for presentation + 15 minutes for discussion). Abstract (250 to 300 words, including 3 keywords and 3 key references); special sessions will be allocated for these presentations in which there will be two respondents assigned by the scientific committee.

Instructions

  • Each author can submit no more than three proposals as main presenter.

​

  • Proposals can be submitted in English and Portuguese, and papers can be delivered both in Portuguese and English.

 

 

  • Besides the filling out of the online form, you are asked upload a Word document with the authors’ names and institutional affiliations, abstract, keywords and references. Please, follow the instructions in the downloadable template.

 

  • Please write your name and institutional affiliation as you would like them to appear on the name badges and on the conference programme.
